About the weather
Romania is a great year-round tourist destination. Our country has temperate continental climate meaning hot summers with heavy storms and cold winters. The months of May, June, July, August and September have nice weather with a pleasant temperature. On average, the coolest month is January.
How to dress:
Lightweights are worn in summer on the coast and in low inland areas. Warmer clothes are needed in winter and throughout the year in the uplands. Rainwear is recommended throughout the year.
