The Story
Flowering meadows, haystacks, herds of sheep and sheepdogs. Transhumance tradition is for thousands of years the most important practice of grazing since Roman times and the Middle Ages in the Romanian land. Consisting of seasonal movement of herds of cattle between pastures summery, generally in areas with relief grasslands, and wintering sites where are lowland areas and mild climate in winter. Traditional Sheppard dishes are widely spread throughout Romania.
